Follow the search for the professors down a rabbit hole of magic and Norse mythology to unlock secrets and the mysteries of destiny. All that is left to discover is what choices you will make when fate is in your hands.
The Story
Provided with an assortment of letters, articles, drawings, websites, and physical artifacts, you will set out on a journey to explore the supernatural forces of Norse mythology and uncover the truth behind the disappearances. The meaning of mysterious glyphs will be revealed throughout the experience as you progress through the story and begin to unravel the secrets of fate and time.
There are a number of upgrades from The Tales of Ord, including:
New packaging with beautiful, updated cover art by Rita Orlov & Ayodhya Ouditt
Improved puzzles, signposting, graphics, and various other edits based on feedback from original The Tale of Ord players
A revised narrative which provides more cohesion between the story and gameplay
Updated components, including a new wooden box design
For those who played The Tales of Ord, please be aware that, while changes have been made, Threads of Fate is not going to feel like an entirely different game. We are proud of and excited about the revisions, but at their cores the games are the same.
