Each chapter contains a series of steps.
Each step gives you a piece of information that's used to solve the following step—this could be a symbol, a word, an instruction, or a visual clue about what to do next. Once you've figured out the solution for the current step, you move on to the next one.
Every chapter has a distinct solution.
The stormlamp icon at the end of each chapter is a prompt to record your solution word or phrase on the provided Incantation page. There are spaces indicated for each chapter's solution—this page gets filled up as you progress through the book.
Sometimes you will need additional materials.
A satchel icon indicates that you need to retrieve an additional page from the satchel envelope at the back of the book. These pages are always labeled with a letter that corresponds to the book page.
Other materials
Aside from what is contained within the book, the only things you need are a pencil and a pair of scissors (some of the satchel pages require cutting, but you do not have to cut into the book itself. A printable PDF of the satchel pages will also be provided if you wish to preserve the originals.)
The Story

Travel along with Anna, a young witch exploring a mysterious world touched by magic. Read the story, examine illustrations, and solve puzzles page-by-page to progress further in the adventure.
The Stormlamp Rituals is a compilation of the episodic series previously titled Cryptogram Puzzle Post. It also includes additional puzzle and story materials, as well as hints and solutions, for a fully-offline immersive experience.
